Raabta received poorly by critics all over the fraternity and columns were mocking it, but the film still managed to survive its first weekend and keeping it a somehow consistent business throughout! Raabta was the directorial debut for producer Dinesh Vijan and it was produced by Maddock Films in association with T-Series Super Cassettes Industries Ltd. Although actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon are still promoting the film via various public appearance, which might help box office performance in some way!
In its first weekend, Raabta managed to remain consistent but low at the box office collections. Upon its release, Raabta earned 5.61 crores, which was straight disappointing considering its production value. And on Saturday it managed to keep box office earnings on 5.11 crores, followed by 5.21 crores on Sunday, making a total of 15.93 crores in the Indian market.
Raabta is a romantic fantasy drama depicted in two separate time zones and settings, directed by Dinesh Vijan . And besides Sushant Singh Rajpu t and Kriti Sanon in fresh pairing with brewing chemistry, the cast also includes Varun Sharma, Jim Sarbh in a creepy negative role. Trade pundits indicating, by securing its target audience, it could manage to retrieve its total budget and managed to last for one more week!
