Golmaal Again keeps flourishing at the box-office in week 2!

After crossing the 150 crore mark, Golmaal Again is fast moving towards entering the 200 crore club. By far in 2017, no other film apart from Baahubali 2 has been able to achieve this feat. It has left behind biggies of this year like Judwaa 2 and Raees among others. The movie stars an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn , Parineeti Chopra , Arshad Warsi , Tusshar Kapoor , Shreyas Talpade , Kunal Kemmu , Tabu , Neil Nitin Mukesh, Johny Lever among others in key roles.
The movie made Rs. 136.07 crores in its first week. The movie further made Rs. 7.25 crores on its second Friday, Rs. 10.61 crores on Saturday and Rs. 13.58 crores on Sunday. It raked in Rs. 4.33 crores on Monday, Rs. 4.02 crores on Tuesday and Rs. 3.78 crores on Wednesday (Week 2). Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 179.70 crores at the domestic box-office front. The film is also performing exceedingly well at the international front.
Rohit Shetty and team are delighted with the response that the film has received. In a media statement, Shetty said, “It’s a great feeling. You die and wait for this day. It’s actually a feeling I can’t express.”
He added, “I would just say thank you to the audience. Filmein toh sab banate hai. Humne bhi banayi. Sab ne mehnat ki hai. The credit goes to everyone – from actors to technicians. It’s not just my film after all. Yeh hum sabki film hai.”
