Seems like Neeraj Pandey , for the first time, has failed to impress the audiences. Where all his previous films did wonders and amazed masses as well as classes, his latest film Aiyaary failed miserably. Not only critics gave it below average reviews but the audience has also not shown much interest in it. Released last Friday, the Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee starrer couldn’t manage to cross 5 crores in any of the three days. On Friday, the film collected Rs. 3.36 crores, it managed to earn Rs. 4.04 crores on Saturday and yesterday, it pocketed only Rs. 4.30 crores, taking the grand total to Rs. 11.70 crores in 3 days. Made on a budget of 30 crores, the film has to cover a huge milestone to recover its cost.

Sidharth Malhotra is going through some tough time of his career; all his films are getting tanked at the box office. While his last film Ittefaq collected Rs. 16.05 crores in its first weekend, A Gentleman earned Rs. 13.13 crores in the same period. Aiyaary has become one of the most unsuccessful films of his short career.

The multi-starrer only has few days left to do some business as the coming Friday will see the release of Kartik Aaryan ’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Sonakshi Sinha ’s Welcome To New York .
