Larger than life Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has recreated the history in Indian Cinema. The film broke all the prior records, becoming the first Indian film to cross the benchmark of Rupees 100 crores, right on its release date!
Originally released in Telugu, Baahubali 2 was welcomed by the entire nation. Its dubbed version in Hindi catered the Northern frontiers like never before done by any South Indian film. Also, its Tamil and Malayalam versions garnered great response. Even after being a non-holiday release, it hold 95% theatre occupancy in India.
The opening day box-office collection of Baahubali 2 is as follows – Its Hindi version presented by Karan Johar , has earned 41.5 crores at the box-office, there by breaking the prior records set by Sultan and Dangal. Telugu release got the whopping collection of 53 crores, as per the trade analyst Trinath. While, its Tamil release counted 12 crores on Day 1. If the morning shows were not cancelled in Tamil Nadu, the film would have earned even more. While, the figures from Kerala are expected to be 7 crores. Therefore, all India box-office collection of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is approximately 113 crores.
