Sonam Kapoor ’s Neerja has crossed the 35 crore milestone and is shining bright at the box-office front. The movie presents an example that, strong content and a powerful script works well with the audience. The film has an inspiring storyline and an emotional connect, which is backed by exceptional execution and strong performances.
The total first week collection of Neerja stands at Rs.35.32 crores at the domestic markets, which is indeed outstanding! Due to popular demand, the makers have increased its shows in theatres. The movie will now be shown in 900 theatres/4000 shows. For the first week it was released in 700 screens/limited shows.
Ram Madhwani’s directorial is based on a real life incident where a 23 year old air hostess Neerja Bhanot loses her life while saving the lives of the 359 passengers of a high jacked plane.
