Rahul Dholakia’s directorial gangster drama Raees is raking in good numbers at the box-office. Despite the clash with Kaabil, the film managed to sail through positively. There were no major releases this Friday and hence, this Shah Rukh Khan starrer benefitted with more footfalls at the theatres.
The film made Rs. 8.25 crores on Monday, Rs. 7.52 crores on Tuesday, Rs. 7.10 crores on Wednesday, Rs. 6.25 crores on Thursday and Rs. 6.6 crores on Friday. Hence the total 10 days collection stands at Rs. 128.96 crores at the domestic front. Trade experts predict the film will go past 150 crores in the coming week.
The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan in key roles.
