Ali Abbas Zafar ’s directorial film Sultan is unstoppable! Featuring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead, the movie has become a record breaking hit. The film made a business of Rs. 36.54 crores on Wednesday, Rs. 37.32 crores on Thursday, Rs. 31.67 crores on Friday, Rs. 36.62 crores on Saturday, and Rs. 38.21 crores on Sunday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 180.36 crores in 5 days at the domestic front.
The film has managed to rake in $ 13.7 million i.e. Rs 91.93 crores from Wednesday to Sunday at the international markets, which is huge! Sultan has set the cash registers ringing for the makers and, certainly has set new benchmarks. Many major Bollywood film records have been broken by this YRF wrestling drama.
