Udta Punjab First Week Box-office Collection; Nears 50 Crores!
The film Udta Punjab has maintained strong hold at the box-office collections in the domestic markets.

The multi starrer drama Udta Punjab has been shining bring at the box-office. The film has received rave reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial venture raked in Rs. 4.50 crores on Monday, Rs. 4 crores on Tuesday, Rs. 3.40 crores on Wednesday and Rs. 2.80 crores on Thursday. Hence, its total collection stands at Rs. 48.50 crores at the domestic markets.
The movie performed very well in the Northern regions, especially in Punjab and Delhi. Udta Punjab talks about the drug scenario and abuse in the state of Punjab. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in the leads.
The movie remained strong during the weekdays despite the online leak and the controversy, which has benefitted the makers.
