Poster Boys does not show an upward trend at the box-office!
Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade’s Poster Boys remain low during the weekdays at the domestic box-office.
Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Shreyas Talpade’s latest release Poster Boys seemed to be a fun family entertainer. The critics as well as the audience gave green signal to the film and tagged it a massy entertainer. However, the positive reviews have not translated much into box-office numbers as the footfalls at the theatres remain low. The movie is a remake of a successful Marathi film of the same name and is the directorial debut of actor Shreyas Talpade.
The film made Rs. 1.75 crores on Friday, Rs. 2.40 crores on Saturday and Rs. 3.10 crores on Sunday. The film further made Rs. 1.15 crores on Monday, Rs. 1 crore on Tuesday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 9.40 crores at the domestic markets. The movie needs to maintain its pace and do well at the coming weekend in order to sustain at the box-office. However, it will receive tough competition from the new releases the coming Friday.
The movie Poster Boys is a fun, light hearted tale about three men who are accidentally made a part of vasectomy advertisements, creating havoc in their lives. The movie subtly hints at the subject of population control and vasectomy in our country.
