Advait Chandan’s directorial debut Secret Superstar starring Zaira Wasim while Aamir Khan is a soulful film. The movie released on Thursday i.e. on October 19, 2017, and opened up to a decent number. It received raving reviews from the critics and the audiences. The performance-driven film is expected to do well in the coming days and the growth has already been witnessed on day 2.
Secret Superstar made Rs. 4.80 crores on Thursday, its opening day. And, the biz almost doubled on its second day, on Friday to Rs. 9. 30 crores. Hence, the total two days collection stands at Rs. 14.10 crores at the domestic market. Considering the trend, the film expected to grow and perform well during the weekend.
Secret Superstar is about a teenager girl Insia played by Zaira Wasim while Aamir has an extended cameo and plays a supporting role. The emotional drama also stars Meher Vij, Raj Arjun, Tirth Sharma, Kabir Sheikh, and Farrukh Jaffer in key roles. It will have to face a tough competition from Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again which is again a good film. It is a fun horror-comedy that received a positive response from the critics as well as the audience.
