Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar ’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is unstoppable. The film has witnessed massive growth in the past two days which is even higher than its opening day. The makers have raked in good numbers due to the Independence Day holiday and the positive word of mouth the film carries. Good content always wins despite the low phase that Bollywood is apparently facing with big film crashing down.
TEPK made Rs. 13.10 crores on Friday, Rs. 17.10 crores on Saturday and Rs. 21.25 crores on Sunday. The movie further raked in Rs. 12 crores passing the Monday test, it made Rs. 20 crores on Tuesday (National Holiday). Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 83.45 crores at the domestic front. With this pace, the makers can expect the movie to touch the 100 crore mark pretty soon!
The movie narrates such an important tale which every village and remote areas in India must see. The actors have performed brilliantly adding soul to the excellent plot.
