Hollywood Indian July Release: The Black Prince!
The English cross over is mostly received by the audience as a show case of Bollywood flavor and not for the content and its presentations. But here is one films that could possibly defy this logic, well-carried storytelling. Kavi Raz, who’ve been known for many directorial credentials in both, films and television, brings you a story of The Black Prince, a periodic drama story of Maharajah Duleep Singh and his struggle during the time of Independence era! And considering its first impression of the trailer below, it looks much promising than any Bollywood drama or viewers assume a cross-over film would be!
Let’s breakdown the trailer, bit-by-bit! The Black Prince is a story of a boy abducted from his home and grew up in Royal British glory; soon embark on a decision to meet his mother after 14years of being separated! Upon meeting his real mother, he came face-to-face with reality and apparently decided to go against British rule and accept treason charges but continues to fight for freedom! Just made up on a minor budget of $ 5 million, it did not fall short on the production value; the story is intriguing and one that can make you rooted for the protagonist character and put you in dilemma to stand out for his ideals and values!
The Black Prince features a talented cast of Satinder Sartaaj, Jason Flemyng, Shabana Azmi, Amanda Root, Keith Duffy, David Essex, Rup Magon, Sophie Stevens. The film is directed and written by Kavi Raz and produced by Brillstein Entertainment Partners. The film will release in Indian theaters on 21st July!
