October Hollywood Release: Blade Runner 2049 Neo Sci-Fi Thriller!

The news-out-of-nowhere was that esteemed filmmaker Ridley Scott would be producing a sequel to his 1982’ classic neo-sci-fi film Blade Runner including Rick Deckard played by Harrison Ford. And even genuine fans of sci-fi films were skeptic about it. But ever since the first teaser of this film launched featuring Ryan Gosling as LAPD Officer K, the anticipation for the film is going up. And now, Warner Bros Pictures recently released a new trailer, and upon its first impression, it is worth waiting till October! Check it out!

For those who aren’t familiar with Blade Runner, it was a story set in dystopian Los Angeles where genetically engineered replicants were created to operate on off-world colonies and in case some of them tried to escape, then an expert, known as Blade Runner is assigned to hunt down such fugitives. Blade Runner 2049 would be a continuation of the prequel story where Blade Runner Rick Deckard was assigned to hunt down a group of recently escaped replicates and some situation led him to go disappear from the radar for 30years. And now in 2049, LAPD Officer K is first assigned to find Rick and working along the course to save the humanity!

The Blade Runner features a strong star cast of Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana De Armas, MacKenzie Davis, Sylvia Hoeks, Lennie James, Carla Juri, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who previously directed Oscar nominated Arrival. The Blade Runner will be released on 6th October, on the same date of its US release!
