'3 idiots and Kai Po Che are altogether different films' says Chetan Bhagat
It is not fair to compare two films which are based on altogether different topics. The subject of the film 'Kai Po Che' is very different that the subject of '3Idiots', so comparing one film with another is absolutely not possible says the renowned novelist Chetan Bhagat.

It is not fair to compare two films which are based on altogether different topics. The subject of the film ' Kai Po Che ' is very different that the subject of ' 3 Idiots ', so comparing one film with another is absolutely not possible says the renowned novelist Chetan Bhagat . The film ' Kai Po Che ' is based on Chetans very famous book The Three Mistakes of My Life and the film ' 3 Idiots ' was based upon Chetans other book Five Point Someone. But according to the writer as we cant compare his two novels, we cant compare the films based on them as well.
' 3 Idiots ' got a huge success at the box office. The book Three mistake of my life too got a huge response in the readers. Now the author hopes to get the considerable response for ' Kai Po Che ' too. Chetan says that he does not know much about the box office collections but hopes that people will love this film too as they loved ' 3 Idiots '. The other reason for which both the films cant be compared is ' 3 Idiots ' had big stars like Aamir Khan , Sharman Joshi and R. Madhavan in it. But ' Kai Po Che ' has a star cast of totally new faces like Amit Sadh , Sushant Singh Rajput and Rajkummar Rao . ' 3 Idiots ' was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and ' Kai Po Che ' is directed by Abhishek Kapoor .
Chetan Bhagat is currently busy in writing the script for the Hindi remake of the Telugu film ' Kick ' which will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala and has Salman Khan in the lead role.
