Aamir Khan’s dream project, Mahabharat, to be backed by business magnate, Mukesh Ambani?
The film’s budget is expected to be more than 1000 crores and it will be mostly in the lines of Game Of Thrones in terms of production value.

For the past few months, news rife in the entire film industry that Aamir Khan is very keen to make a franchise film on Indian ancient story of Mahabharat. And it is somewhat confirmed as the actor has not been signing any more film projects. If sources are to be relied upon then Aamir wants to make it as a franchise project where every new installment will come out after a gap of 2 years. Now the latest we hear is the extravaganza film will be jointly produced by the billionaire, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and the budget of the film is expected to be more than Rs. 1000 crores.
Noted trade analyst, Ramesh Bala, shared the big news on Twitter and also stated that the epic film will be on the lines of Lord Of The Rings and Game Of Thrones in terms of production value.
Talking about Aamir’s current work, he is still busy with the shoots of Thugs Of Hindostan . The entire team of TOH is in Rajasthan shooting the climax of the film and Aamir has earlier said that they will wrap the film by the end of this month.
Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya , TOH also stars Amitabh Bachchan , Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles and it is slated to come out on 07th November 2018.
