Aanand L Rai signed Anushka Sharma to be second lead girl for Shah Rukh Khan

There were so many news, rumors, and speculations on who would be the second leading lady, in yet to be titled Aanand L Rai ’s upcoming film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Prod. Though, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif were finalized, for second female lead Aanand L Rai was fiddling with some options. After the much suspense, Anushka Sharma nodded to be part of this project.

Casting Anushka Sharma was justified, as even Aanand L Rai also stated that “She is at a more than ready stage in her career to essay a complex role like this. We have been working on her look and prepping for the film.” Aanand L Rai ’s untitled film already has been in news for both good and bad reason! As on the set of this film, a portion of the ceiling fell down but luckily causing minor injuries to set workers. But the good news is that the viewers would be treated with lead trio casting of Jab Tak Hai Jaan again for a love story.

There are also many speculations about the storyline, despite being a love story. But considering Aanand L Rai ’s track record of depicting Love stories, we can expect it not to be a typical love story. And as the source suggested, Shah Rukh will be playing a character of a Dwarf in this film, which gives a great hint that it would be an out of the box plotline and characterization.
