Ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj to cast Vaani Kapoor in his next?
Vishal has liked Vaani's work in both her films and he feels she has a good screen presence, says a source.

Multiple National Award winning music composer and filmmaker, Vishal Bhardwaj , has 3 upcoming projects which are reportedly women-centric. Though his last directorial didn’t work out well, he has got some big projects coming this year. Where we are all aware that for one his films he has signed Deepika Padukone , a report suggests that the filmmaker has actress Vaani Kapoor in his mind for his yet another film. Vaani, who has just appeared in two films, has impressed the ace filmmaker with her screen presence. And now, the two have conducted meetings and expressed their desire to collaborate with one another. A source close to the development informed the same to a daily, "Vishal has liked Vaani's work in both her films and he feels she has a good screen presence. They have met and spoken about working together. Vishal has now expressed his interest in casting her in one of his next films. But he's not yet decided which film it will be. There's no confirmation on that."
A few weeks back, news had it that Bhardwaj is making a two-heroine film, titled, ‘Chhooriyan’. The film will be a two sisters’ rivalry story and he looking for Kriti Sanon and Vaani Kapoor to play the roles. Though all these stories are spilled out by insiders, nothing has been confirmed yet.
The source concluded saying, "He's co-producing four films with Prernaa Arora and one of them will mostly have Vaani in the lead. He might or might not direct the film at all."
