After a successful run in India, ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ goes to Russia!
After doing phenomenal business in India, Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has been released in Russia.

After putting up an impressive show in India, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is all set to entertain the Russian audience. According to reports, the movie has opened at 22 screens across 16 Russian cities in the country. It will be interesting to see how the film fares in the international market after its terrific run at the home turf.
Made on a shoestring budget, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has turned out to be one of the most successful ventures of 2017. It has earned over Rs. 33 crores within 12 days of its release. The film is still running in some cinemas and is expected to make more money during the weekend. Not just that, buoyed up by the terrific response the movie has generated at the ticket window, the makers are planning a sequel to it.
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is the second success in a row for its lead pair Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar as their previous releases Bareilly Ki Barfi and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha respectively also did fantastic business at the box office.
Directed by R S Prasanna, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is a Hindi remake of director’s own Tamil directorial Kalyana Samayal Saadham. The movie opened on 1st September alongside Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi ’s Baadshaho .
