Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on joining Fanney Khan schedule!

It was a delight for the fans to learn that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has joined the team of Fanney Khan starring Anil Kapoor in the lead. Both the actors have worked together previously in films like Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000) and Taal (1999). Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor are not paired opposite each other but, they play very crucial characters in the movie. Aishwarya will romance the talented actor Rajkummar Rao in the upcoming film.

While Anil Kapoor has already started with the shooting schedule, Aishwarya and Rajkummar are soon to join. The makers will also rope in a new face to play Kapoor’s daughter in the movie. Co-producer Prernaa Arora is excited to work with Aishwarya and expressed her joy in a social post. The actress is also very happy to be on board for the project.

In a statement, Aishwarya said, "Good luck to the entire team of 'Fanney Khan'. I am looking forward to joining the team and enjoying the process of filmmaking. I would talk more about the film in the course of time."

Anil Kapoor also stated in a statement about collaborating with the actress, he said, “Though she’s not cast opposite me I am really glad to work with Aishwarya again. She is a delightfully professional artiste. I’ve done two films with her in past, Taal and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. Both did well. With Fanney Khan, I hope to achieve a hat-trick of hits with her.”

The film Fanney Khan will be helmed by Atul Manjrekar and is said to be shot in Mumbai majorly. The movie is jointly produced by KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
