Akshay Kumar is in the Hindi film industry for close to 30 years now. The actor has appeared in more than 120 films and has seen many clashes in his long journey. His latest film, Pad Man , is doing a good business at the box office, and in few months, he has yet another film, Gold . While the actor had announced much in advance that his film will release on the Independence Day, i.e. 15th August, it is reported that Kangana Ranaut ’s much-awaited period drama, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi , will also come out on the same date. Many films of 2018 have already failed miserably due to clashes and when Akshay was asked about his film getting clashed with other big films, he gave the most sorted answer.
When Akshay was asked about this possible clash, the actor quipped, "Yeh clash kya hota hai? [What is this clash?]... You guys use this term as if we are fighting with each other."
"Our film industry releases approximately 180 films each year. We do not have as many theatres, so some films will have to release together. There is no harm in it. Also, we have only 52 weeks, so it is not possible for each film to have solo release dates. Some films will have to release on the same week," Akshay asserted.
Well, we guess the actor could not have come up with a better answer, so we wish him luck for all his upcoming projects.
