Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’ locks April 13th, 2018 as its release date!
The makers of forthcoming film Padman have announced the release date of the film. Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, the movie will release on 13th April.

After Toilet: Ek Prem Katha , which is all set to hit screens on 11th August, Padman will be another cause-driven film toplined by superstar Akshay Kumar . Produced by his wife Twinkle Khanna , the movie has been in the news ever since it was announced a few months back with filmmaker R. Balki at the helm of the affairs. Since major portions of the film have already been canned, the makers have now announced the official release date of the movie. Yes, Padman will release on 13th April 2018 and will be Khiladi Kumar’s second release of 2018 after 2.0 which is slated for release on the Republic Day weekend. Akshay revealed the release date of the film on his Twitter account with a poster.
For the uninitiated, Padman is a biopic based on the life of entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganatham from Tamil Nadu, who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in the rural area. Besides Akshay, the movie also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles.
