Akshay Kumar to next do the biopic of Dr. Verghese Kurien aka The Milkman Of India?
Amidst the neck tight busy schedule, will Akshay Kumar don the role of ‘The Milkman of India’ in Dr. Verghese Kurien’s biopic?

A few days back, Ekta Kapoor revealed that she will be producing a film on the life of Dr. Verghese Kurien, which will be helmed by Shree Narayan Singh of the Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame. Though Ekta is yet to reveal the title and star cast of the film, it is reported that Akshay Kumar might lead the film. Akshay, who is on the spree of doing social message driven movies, can no doubt portray the role of the Late noble-man, Dr. Verghese Kurien.
Talking about it, a trade analyst stated to a daily, "Akshay’s reigning the charts and every film of his is a safe bet. So, this time around, the price will be what Akshay will take in addition to the partnership that he will command when he signs the film on the milkman of India. We are sure that he will charge an utterly, butterly delicious price for the film."
For the uninitiated, Dr. Kurien was regarded as the ‘Father of White Revolution’ and ‘Milkman Of India’. He turned India from a milk deficit nation to the largest producer of the milk. His started ‘Operation Flood’ – the world's largest agricultural dairy development programme, made dairy farming India's largest self-sustaining industry and the largest rural employment provider. He received many awards for his work, including Padma Vibhushan in 1999. He died in 2012, at the age of 90.
Looking at Khiladi Kumar’s filmography in the last few years, we feel no other actor can pull the role of Dr. Kurien better than him.
