Akshay Kumar to remake a Tamil blockbuster film?
Akshay is currently one of the busiest Bollywood stars with many of his films lined up for release in 2018.

One of the most sought-after Bollywood actors, superstar Akshay Kumar has a number of films lined up for release in next few months. However, that has not stopped the megastar from showing interest in new projects. Reportedly, Kumar has signed one more project. This film is none other than the Hindi remake of blockbuster Tamil horror comedy Kanchana 2. The actor will play the lead role in the movie.
Renowned South trade analyst, Ramesh Bala shared the news on his Twitter account, “@akshaykumar to remake @offl_Lawrence – @taapsee‘s 2015 Blockbuster #Kanchana2 in Hindi..”
Akshay is currently busy with the promotion of his upcoming film, Pad Man . Also starring Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles, the film is an R Balki directorial, which is scheduled to hit screens on 9th February. The film was earlier slated to release on 25th January. However, when the makers of Padmaavat , a period film which was also poised for its theatrical release on 25th January, requested Kumar to delay his film, the actor decided to come on 9th February.
Pad Man is now clashing with Neeraj Pandey ’s, Aiyaary on 9th February.
