Alia Bhatt talks about her endeavors in the break after Badrinath Ki Dulhania!

Young actress Alia Bhatt who does not like to address herself as a star opened up about her films, stardom, singing and the much-needed break that she took after her last film Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Varun Dhawan. Alia will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar ’s Raazi where she essays a demanding and challenging role of an Indian spy who is married to a Pakistani Army Officer played by Vicky Kaushal . The film is a much talked about one, along with this, the actress also has Dragon and Gully Boy in her kitty. Alia took the break to relax as she has never got time off since she worked on back to back films. In a recent media interaction, the gorgeous diva speaks about her other projects she did in the break time.

Talking about her much-needed break, Alia stated, “Yes, I did but in the meantime, I acted for my ad films etc. So, that way, I was constantly acting. But of course, I missed portraying a full-fledged character and that goes without saying (smiles). The last time I played a character was Vaidehi from BKD and it has been some time since I finished shooting for that part. Though there’s always something or the other to do but eventually, what one lives for is playing the characters. So, yes, I missed acting that way.”

“Yes, the break was really good because I got enough time to brush up my other skills. And had I not got this break, I wouldn’t have taken it on my own to prep for the character and the film, which I have been prepping for over a month-and-a-half now. So, I am glad about it because I took that time to go deep into my part. I am very excited about the character,” added Alia.

Recently, the actress walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra along with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh at the India Couture Week 2017.
