Amitabh Bachchan to host the 9th Season of KBC!

It’s been almost 17 years since the first episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati went on air. Call it the reality show of dreams coming true or even seeing our all-time favorite Amitabh Bachchan playing the host. It makes us nostalgic even now! And now, it is going to come back again with its 9th season and Big B will continue hosting it.

There were speculations that either Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Ranbir Kapoor would be hosting it. But Big B cleared the air with his blog that titled, “the time has come, to give an answer” …’jawab dene ka samay aa gaya hai’ !!

Big B announced the arrival of KBC writing, “KBC .. has gracefully agreed to reappear and in doing so has coerced me into recording the Registration Questions for the contest to be on air by August-September .. !! This year … !!”

Recalling his experience working in the prior season of this reality show, he wrote “KBC .. the winner from its beginnings .. to me at least .. to mingle with them that come with ambition and desire .. with hope and will .. with the dream of its true coming .. and of course the ultimate desire of spending those hours at the Hot Seat, with complete strangers .. who by the time it ends become your dearest friends ..”

“May the fruits of friendships grow .. may the winner be ecstatic .. may he or she be deserving .. and above all, may the wishes of they that come, be delivered in a bounty ..”, he wrote wishing luck to the participating contestants.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is a Hindi adaptation of international reality show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”. Big B has hosted its 7 seasons till now, while its third season had Shah Rukh as its host.
