Actress turned producer Anushka Sharma opens up about casting Khans in her films.

Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma is one of the A-list actresses in the industry, who is known to perform strong and versatile roles. The talented actress has turned into a successful film producer with NH10 (2015) and now, the recent release, Phillauri . In her career of nine years in Bollywood, she has worked with all the three Khans, Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir. When the lady was quizzed about casting the three Khans in her movies, she had a very righteous answer.
Anushka’s films have a strong script to support the powerful performances. About casting the Khans, Anushka said, "Right now, fitting in superstars in the stories that we are telling, is difficult. Both Phillauri and NH10 didn’t require superstar heroes."
She added, "For us, everything begins from the script. Tomorrow, we could write a script that might require a huge budget. If I feel that’s a role that fits the Khans or any other big star, I will definitely pitch the film to them. It has to be the correct part to offer them."
Anushka further said, "I cannot write a film for an actor. I will never do that. It will always have to be the other way round. We write the script and then take a call on who we feel will be able to do justice to that film. That’s the right way of working. Sometimes, when you work the other way round, you can mess up things. Many films haven’t done well because of that reason."
On the acting front, Anushka will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial with Shah Rukh Khan.
