Are makers planning a sequel to the Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium?
If reports are to be believed, the makers of Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar’s ‘Hindi Medium’ are planning a sequel to the film.

Starring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in lead roles, ‘ Hindi Medium ’ released in May this year and turned out to be one of the best films of 2017. Not just critically, the movie was a huge success financially also, with a gross collection of Rs. 102 crores. Ever since the film became a hit at the box office, speculations have been rife that the makers may come up with its sequel soon. And now it seems all speculations have really turned true. If reports are to be believed, the makers are considering developing the film into a franchise and making its sequel.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan , Bhushan Kumar , Krishan Kumar , the subject of the film really touched the heart of the audience and Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar ’s impressive acts turn out to be icing on the cake. The first film of the series showed us the loopholes of our education system. Its sequel is expected to take up another burning issue to take the proceedings forward.
Reportedly Saket Chaudhary , who directed the first part, will helm the second part also. Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar won a lot of accolade for their performance in Hindi Medium . But it is yet not clear if they would star together in its sequel also. An official announcement is expected.
