Baahubali Makers To Now Showcase A Virtual Reality Film!
Baahubali producer confirmed the news of showcasing a virtual reality film named The Sword Of Baahubali.
After the coveted secret of ‘why kattapa killed Baahubali’ was revealed in the super successful second instalment film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the fans are left with a void. The audience is craving for more of the Baahubali magic and the makers are trying their best to keep the fans hooked.
BollywoodMDB informed our readers that the film makers have already a TV series and an animation series planned. They are also planning to have theme parks, the work is in the pipeline. If all this is not enough, Producer Shobu Yarlagadda confirmed recently that a virtual reality film of 8-9 minutes based on the Baahubali characters will be out soon. The movie is named The Sword Of Baahubali.
The producer said in a statement, “It is called The Sword Of Baahubali. It’s a virtual-reality film of 8-9-minute duration based on the Baahubali characters. We’ve already identified kiosks in malls in key cities including Hyderabad where it would be screened. Once I return to India next week it will be put across the country.” He is overwhelmed by requests for the Baahubali franchise to be revived.
He added, “We have an animation series and television series based on the characters from Baahubali. But first we have the virtual-reality film. As far as another Baahubali feature film is concerned there is nothing in the pipeline right now.”
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion went on to become the first Indian film to gross 1000 crore! It is a massive success and has created a bench mark for Indian films for years to follow. The film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan among other. The film series is directed by eminent filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli.
