Madhur Bhandarkar has delayed the release of his upcoming film ' Heroine ' by a week. He took this decision when the release date of Shirish Kunder 's ' Joker ' got shifted to Sept 14. So now ' Heroine ' will release on Sept 21, which will make it to clash with two other women-centric movies viz. ' English Vinglish ' and ' Ishkq In Paris '.
' English Vinglish ' has Sridevi in the lead, which is produced by R. Balki and has been directed by Gauri Shinde (Balki's wife). In the film, Sridevi has portrayed the character of a housewife, who struggles with the English language and hence enrols for an English speaking course in order to please her husband and family.
' Ishkq In Paris ' has been produced by the actress Preity Zinta , which marks her comeback. It has been directed by Prem Soni .
Madhur Bhandarkar 's ' Heroine ' stars Kareena Kapoor , Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. The film revolves around the life of Mahi Arora, a film actress.
Hence, movies of three heroines namely Sridevi , Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor will clash at the box office on Sept 21. It will be interesting to see their fate at the box office.
