Breaking: Sanjay Dutt’s biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor finally has a release date; Hirani’s film is now clashing with ‘Soorma’!

Rajkumar Hirani ’s upcoming film on Sanjay Dutt ’s life is one of the most anticipated movies of 2018. Ranbir Kapoor is portraying the role of Sanju Baba in his untitled biopic and the film’s shooting is in its conclusive stage. To double the fun, we have got some exciting news for all our readers. Though the title of the film is yet not finalized, the release date of the same is finally here. A few minutes ago, trade analyst, Taran Adarsh disclosed the release date of Hirani’s film and it will hit the theatres on 29th June 2018. Interestingly, Dutt’s biopic will now be clashing with Shaad Ali ’s helmed film, ‘ Soorma ’

Earlier, Hirani’s film was supposed to release in 2017 itself, but then it got postponed to 30th March 2018 and then yesterday, news broke out that the film might get further pushed to 27th April or 15th August. But setting all the speculations aside, the makers locked 29th June as their final date. The year 2018 is full of clashes and if Dutt’s biopic would have taken the 30th March slot then the film would have been clashing with Tiger Shroff ’s ‘ Baaghi 2 ’, which is also coming out on the same date.

But now, when Hirani and team have decided 29th June 2018 as their final release date, Dutt’s biopic will now be clashing with Shaad Ali ’s ‘ Soorma ’, which has Diljit Dosanjh , Angad Bedi and Taapsee Pannu in the lead.
