Punjabi song musician Satinder Sartaaj will mark his acting debut with Hollywood film The Black Prince. Being the singer at roots, he has also composed a beautiful track named Channa for the film. He released its teaser on social media today.
Channa teaser gives the glimpse of Maharaja Duleep Singh’s budding love interest. It has been entirely composed in Punjabi, with its lyrics and vocals done by Sartaaj. The entire song will be out in few days.

The lead actor Sartaaj is a bundle of talent. He holds M.Phil degree in Sufi music and Ph.D. in Sufi singing from Punjab University. He has written a number of poetries, songs and have also composed and sang them.
The Black Prince is a bilingual film, made in English and Punjabi languages. It is about the last prince of Punjab named Maharaja Duleep Singh, who was kept away from his own kingdom and his royal family right from a very young age. The film focuses on his drive to reach out to his mother and revive the once glorious kingdom.
With Sartaaj playing the lead role of Maharaja Duleep Singh, actress Shabana Azmi has acted the part of Rani Jind Kaur in film The Black Prince. Directed by Kavi Raz, it will be releasing on July 21, this year.
