'Chennai Express' colorfully beats records of '3 Idiots'
Rohit Shetty\'s rom-com \'Chennai Express\' has eventually beat the records of blockbuster \'3 Idiots\', thereby fixing its position in the top grossers chart.

The 'Ready, Steady, Po' rom-com ' Chennai Express ' had successfully broken the records of previous blockbusters and delighted the box office with shining figures. The movie featuring sizzling 'jodi' of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone made the people laugh and cry at the same time. ' Chennai Express ' is now on a brink of history by proceeding with its dream run at the box office. Reportedly, the film was witnessed crossing some more milestones in last few days.
And now, ' Chennai Express ' has created a colorful record by surpassing the mark of 300 crores gross worldwide and the movie had hitherto accomplished around 328 crores worldwide. Shah Rukh, Deepika starrer had already broken the record of ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' by crossing 307 crores and that of ' Ek Tha Tiger ' by acquiring 321 crores. The interesting breaking news says that Rohit Shetty directorial venture ' Chennai Express ' had surpassed the record of blockbuster ' 3 Idiots ' that featured Aamir Khan , R. Madhavan , Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor . SRK's marketing acumen and the masala ingredients in the film assisted this entertainer thwarting the records of all these earlier blockbusters, thereby gaining a position in the top grossers chart.
The other movies directed by commercial movie king Rohit Shetty , including ' Golmaal 3 ', ' Bol Bachchan ' and ' Singham ' are already the elite players of 100 crore club.
