Confirmed: Sushant Singh Rajput opts out of RAW, here’s why!
Pushing aside all the rumours and speculations, Sushant Singh Rajput confirms opting out of the big budget spy thriller Raw.

There were several updates and reports making rounds regarding the upcoming spy-thriller film Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW). The movie which is touted to be a big budget one and is directed by Robby Grewal. Sushant Singh Rajput was approached for the film and he was also very impressed with the script and was keen to take up. But, could not due to date issues. He is currently juggling with three films simultaneously and hence could not ender a big slot for RAW.
In a media interaction published on India Today , Sushant said, “Unfortunately, I will not be part of Romeo Akbar Walter due to changes in my prior commitments. I wanted to be part of the project because I love the story, and believe it must be told, but, that will not happen.”
The source revealed, “The script (of RAW) is powerful, and could have been be a turning point in Sushant’s career. He requested Ajay to give him time to sort out the schedule conflict. Sushant wanted to shoot for his films over 15-day schedules, but, Ajay felt it would affect the continuity. He wanted two 30-day schedules to complete Romeo, but that wasn’t possible for the actor.”
BollywoodMDB earlier updated the news to our readers and now an official confirmation has arrived from the actor that dissolves all speculations. RAW is scheduled to release next year, it will now be interesting to see who the filmmaker ropes in as the male lead of the movie. Sushant has three big films namely Chanda Mama Door Ke , Kedarnath and Drive in his kitty.
