Dhanush thrilled for his Hollywood debut

B-town and South superstar Dhanush is thrilled over his most awaited Hollywood debut. The Kolavari Di star is all geared up to show his extraordinary talent in his first ever Hollywood movie. He expressed that he is euphoric to sign his first Hollywood movie. The humble star has didn't forget to thank his fans for their unconditional and continuous support.

The Hollywood project which will be directed by Marjane Satrapi has been titled as "The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in the Ikea Cupboard". The director Marjane Satrapi is an Iran born filmmaker who is currently based in France.

The Raanjhanaa star recently expressed his joy by a tweet saying that," Elated to sign my first Hollywood film @The___Fakir, directed by Marjane Satrapi. A Big thank you to all for the warm wishes keeps pushing me!" The film is based on the writer Romain Puertola's bestseller novel which also was his debut work with the same name. The book is a comic adventure which features a wild storyteller from New Delhi. The guy falls in love with a woman after getting to Paris and accidentally gets banished with a group of African refugees against his choice. The novel was got out in 2014 and has been translated into more than 35 languages. It talks about the journey of a con man from India to an IKEA in Paris and at last turns out to be a philosophical odyssey.

Dhanush will be sharing screen with Oscar nominated actors such as Uma Thurman and Barkhad Abdi. The film also stars super talented actress Seema Biswas .
