Director Ravi Udyawar opens up about Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s unrecognizable avatar for the upcoming film Mom.

Ever Since the teasers, poster and the trailer of Ravi Udyawar ’s Mom have been out, it has become the talk of the town. The viewers and the cine lovers cannot stop appreciating the lead stars performance and transformation. This movie is actress Sridevi ’s 300th film and is considered her best ever. Mom also stars eminent actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna among others. One thing about the film that caught everyone’s attention was Nawazuddin’s unrecognizable look. In a media interaction, the director opened up about the transformation at length.
Filmmaker Ravi Udyawar said, "There is a reason the audience and the industry refer to Nawazuddin as one of the finest actors in the country. When I explained his look to him, he was really excited because it gave him the opportunity to do something different. As an actor he is constantly on the lookout for doing something that challenges him. He sat through four hours of hair and make-up, walked around the local streets wearing basic clothes picked off the streets and yet managed to steal the show."
All the eminent and talented lot of actors feature in the movie that seems to have an intriguing storyline considering its trailers. It is a Boney Kapoor’s outing which showcases the challenges of a woman. The film is all set to hit the silver screens on July 7, 2017.
