Ajay Devgn , Tabu starrer ' Drishyam ' will hit the screens today and the film is expected to attract huge crowd owing to its dhamakedaar trailer. The news update revealed that ' Drishyam ' is a 2.39 minute thriller and has a longish interval, which is known as samosa-and-popcorn time scheme. It will give a chance to multiplexes' cafeteria to hike their business.

The director Nishikant Kamat and the producer Viacom 18 ensured to keep 2 hour 39 minute playing-time of ' Drishyam '. Multiplexes consider this long playing time as unfashionable as it goes beyond two hours. Kamat stated that "But I am fighting to retain every minute of my edited footage, because I feel every film has its own rhythm. We cannot hurry it. 'Drishyam' is not a routine thriller. It's a gripping story. But the pace is not of the normal thriller."
