Mouni Roy who is one of the most loved TV celebrities is soon to make her Bollywood debut. It is a known fact that Mouni has been finalized as the female lead for Akshay Kumar ’s upcoming film Gold . Now, the latest update claims that even before the release of her first film, the lady has already signed her next. Yes, Mouni has been roped in Dharma Productions’most celebrated project Brahmastra that stars Ranbir Kapoor , Alia Bhatt and megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
Mouni Roy seems to be super lucky when it comes to films. Her first movie is the reigning star Akshay Kumar and second film with the industry A-listers Alia and Ranbir along with legendary actor Big B. The details of her role are kept under wraps but is an important role. Brahmastra is a trilogy and a fantasy film directed by Ayan Mukherjee who is working on this project since years.
The pre-production of the film is almost complete and it is fair to expect Brahmastra to hit floors by the end of the year and release by the end of 2018 or in the early quarter of 2019. In Gold , Mouni plays Akshay Kumar ’s wife. Currently, the actress is wrapping up her work commitments on TV and making her schedule free for Bollywood.
