Farah Khan to plan her next film without SRK
As the superstar is busy with his other professional commitments, he is not able to allot dates to Farah.
Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan share a cordial bond and have given us blockbuster films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year in the past. Farah is currently busy with her television shows, but she is planning her next film right after her current show on Star Plus comes to end. After Happy New Year, which released in 2014, she was willing to work with SRK again, but it seems that she will have to roll her next without the superstar as he is too busy to sign a new project.
Now that Farah cannot cast Shah Rukh in her next venture, she is planning to make some changes in the script and rope in a younger actor to play the male lead. A trade source reveals to Asian Age, “Farah has been busy with her TV shows of late, and hence has not been disturbed by her work schedule. But once her show is over, she wants to start her film and hence has decided to look beyond Shah Rukh for the film. She had done it earlier with Tees Maar Khan but failed because the film with Akshay Kumar flopped badly. This time she wants a younger actor in the film.”
Farah has not had much success when she chose to work with another superstar in the past. It will be interesting to see how her next film fares at the box office without Shah Rukh Khan headlining the cast.
