Amidst the controversy, here’s a delightful update for all Kangana Ranaut fans! The actress has been spotted with her team in Jaipur on the sets of her upcoming film Manikarnika . The actress is seen decked up in a sari along with a shawl and has adorned simple and traditional avatar with a red bindi and her hair tied in a bun. The actress is busy with her script and the images have been taken between the shots. The shooting is on with full zeal, the makers are planning to wrap up this schedule at the earliest.
To perfect her role, Kangana has taken horse riding lessons, dialect lessons, and she has also learned sword fighting and is intensely preparing for the war scenes. As these scenes will be aesthetically shot and require a lot of practice so as to look as authentic as possible.
The film also features well-known television actress Ankita Lokhande , who makes her film debut with the film, as Jhalkaribai. Lokhande’s love interest will be essayed by Vaibhav Tatwawaadi who played Chimaji Appa in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani (2015). The film also stars Sonu Sood, Suresh Oberoi, and Atul Kulkarni.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi went on floors in May 2017 and is slated to release on 27 April 2018.
