Young star Alia Bhatt will be seen essaying the role of an Indian spy in Meghna Gulzar's next film Raazi.

Actress Alia Bhatt ’s upcoming film Raazi is one of the most talked about films. The movie is an intense one and a lot of prep has gone into the making. It stars actor Vicky Kaushal opposite Alia, who essays a Pakistani army officer. The film is based on the book Calling Sehmat by Harinder S Sikka. Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar have exclusively revealed her character look from the film. Johar tweeted: “A journey of love,intrigue and many secrets....@meghnagulzar @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @DharmaMovies @JungleePictures #6monthstoRaazi #Raazi”
The makers have wrapped up the shooting schedule and the film is already in post-production. On completion of the shoot, Alia got emotional and posted a heartfelt message on social media. She wrote: "And we wrapped #RAAZI last night. Last days are always very emotional because you live with the character for soo many months and then you have to let it go. This is pretty much how our life looked like on set - My director and I just totally lost in our own little world hope you guys love the film as much as we loved making it."
The upcoming flick has been shot in Punjab, Kashmir, and Mumbai among other places. The film has been presented by Dharma production and Junglee Pictures. Directed by Meghna Gulzar , Raazi will hit the silver screens on 11th May 2018.
