Actress Taapsee Pannu who will be seen essaying a hockey player next reveals how she has a connection with the sport.

BollywoodMDB earlier reported our readers that actress Taapsee Pannu has been roped in to play a hockey player along with Diljit Dosanjh in their next. Yes, Dijit and Taapsee will both essay hockey players in the film which is based on the life of renowned medalist hockey player Sandeep Singh who was also the former captain of the Indian Hockey Team. Both the lead actors are work hard and sweating it out to learn the sport.
In a recent media interaction, Taapsee reveals how she is already connected to the sport, hockey. The actress is very excited to learn the sport because her father is an ace hockey player! Taapsee who is very chirpy and bubbly in real life revealed, “I have seen pictures of my father who played hockey representing Delhi University. Never thought at that point I will ever hold a hockey stick. I have always loved sports in general but never tried hockey. It’s so coincidental that eventually when I got to play a sportsperson on screen I got to play a hockey player. I am having a great time learning the sport and I’m sure this will be one film my dad will be very keen to watch.”
Apart from this film with Diljit Dosanjh , Taapsee will be next seen in Mulq with Rishi Kapoor and Neena Gupta.
