Independence & Republic Day 2018 Weekend Booked by Gold & 2.0!

There were speculations about the release date of Gold and also rumours were going around about the delay of Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 . But, now after the new poster release of Akshay’s upcoming film Gold , it is confirmed that Independence Day and Republic Day weekends are booked by the action maestro.

Check out the new poster of Gold featuring Akshay Kumar . The tagline reads: “The dream that united the nation!” The film has been scheduled to release on August 15, 2018. Gold is directed by Reema Kagti, it said to be a fictional take on series of events happened during 1948 Olympics. It revolves around the theme of India winning its 1st Gold medal in hockey as a free nation in 1948 Olympics.

Since Gold gets a release date, 2.0 ’s release has been secured and confirmed. The film which is a super high on budget Sci-Fi is made on a large scale and will be promoted to a global audience. It also stars Amy Jackson as the female lead. It features Rajinikanth as the most loved robot while Akshay essays a deadly Villain. The initial bits of the movie are interesting and intriguing. BollywoodMDB updated our readers that the makers will host an official audio launch in Dubai next month i.e. October while its teaser will be launched in Hyderabad in the month of November. The official trailer launch is scheduled in Chennai in the month of December.
