Irrfan Khan reveals details of his next with Deepika Padukone!

It is a known fact that eminent actors Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone are coming together once again for the upcoming film tentatively titled Sapna Didi. The duo earlier impressed the audience with their unique chemistry in the successful film Piku also starring Amitabh Bachchan. Now, Irrfan and Deepika have joined hands for rather a dark plot. Sapna Didi is touted to be a film inspired by the life of mafia queen Rahima Khan aka Sapna Didi who planned the murder of underworld criminal Dawood Ibrahim. But since the makers have not yet acquired the rights, they are trying to weave a fictional story, as suggests the sources.
In a recent media interaction, Irrfan Khan was asked about the developments of the upcoming film to which he smilingly replied that he is excited to work on the new story. Without wanting to give out many details, Irrfan said, “I am very excited for the film. The final version of the film is yet to come to us. But the dates are sorted, the dates are fixed. I am really, really looking forward to the film. It is an entertaining film with dark shades. The film is an exciting one and Deepika has an awesome role in it.”
Currently, Irrfan Khan is busy promoting his upcoming film Qarib Qarib Singlle that also stars Malayalam actress Parvathy while Deepika Padukone is gearing up for her next release which is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Padmavati featuring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
