It is Tiger Shroff vs Kangana Ranaut vs ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ on April 27th!
2018 will surely be the year of clashes; 27th April 2018 will see the clash of ‘Baaghi 2’, ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Infinity War’.
Marvel India surely surprised the Indian fans by preponing the release date of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. The film, which was supposed to release on May 4th, will now release a week prior, i.e. on 27th April 2018. Though it’s a gift to the Marvel and Avengers fans, many other movie buffs are quite upset with it. Infinity War isn’t the solo release on 27th April, Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 2’ and Kangana Ranaut‘s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, both these films too are scheduled to release on the same date. The results are quite visible if we imagine these 3 movies clashing against each other.
In the past few years, the Western movies have shown the capability to out-perform the Indian films in Indian markets. Fans are eagerly waiting for year’s biggest film, ‘Infinity War’, but the upsetting part is ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Manikarnika’ will also hit the screens on the same date. Not only will this affect the distribution of screen space, but also the collections of each of the three films at the box office. We have seen the movies like ‘Fast and Furious’, ‘Transformers’ and ‘The Jungle Book’ doing huge business in India. We know ‘Manikarnika’ is also a high budget film, and clashing with a biggie like Avenger, will affect the movie very badly. Same goes for Tiger’s movie.
We don’t think that the makers of ‘Infinity War’ are in any mood to re-shuffle the dates again; it will be interesting to watch if these movies clash or the Indian makers give their movies a second thought.
