'Jagga Jasoos' to hit the screens on October 2, 2014
Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif starrer 'Jagga Jasoos' is now going to release on October 2, the same day on which Ranbir's 'Besharam' released this year.

' Besharam ', which was this year's October 2 release of Ranbir Kapoor , could not bring luck to the handsome Kapoor lad and proved a big failure at the box office. However, this badluck did not hamper the confidence of the actor and one of his next releases, ' Jagga Jasoos ' is reportedly slated to hit the screens on October 2, 2014.
From this, it was evident that Ranbir does not care about such minor things and does not turn superstitious about it. His upcoming film ' Jagga Jasoos ' was supposed to release at the same time of the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ' Happy New Year ' on Diwali 2014. Nevertheless, instead of facing competition from SRK, the Kapoor scion chose to lock horns with Hrithik Roshan starrer ' Bang Bang ', which is anticipated to release on the same date as well.
The detective tale ' Jagga Jasoos ' is directed by Anurag Basu and features Govinda as step-father of Ranbir Kapoor in the film. Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt will be seen in key roles.
