Jim Sarbh to be seen portraying the role of Salman Khan in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic?
Since Salman looked a certain way back in the late 90s, the filmmakers thought Jim would be perfect for the role.

Sanjay Dutt ’s biopic by Rajkumar Hirani will unfold many unseen and unspoken truths from the actor’s life. The actor gave full liberty to the filmmaker to openly show all his relationships and friendships. While Ranbir Kapoor will play Sanjay’s role, actors Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala will play the role of his late parents Sunil Dutt and Nargis respectively. But the latest we hear is Jim Sarbh of the Neerja fame will be seen portraying the role of Salman Khan in the biopic. Salman and Sanjay share a warm relationship and are close to each other since decades, so the makers of the film decided to cast Jim as Salman.
A source informed, "The biopic also focuses briefly on the friendship that Sanju and Salman share. Since Salman looked a certain way back in the late 90s, the filmmakers thought Jim would be perfect for the role."
Apart from the above-mentioned actors, the film will also have a huge star cast. Sonam Kapoor will play Tina Munim, Anushka Sharma might be seen as one of the lawyers, Dia Mira will play Sanju’s wife - Manyata Dutt, Karishma Tanna will portray Madhuri Dixit’s role, Vicky Kaushal is touted to play Kumar Gaurav and there are many more actors who will be seen doing cameos.
Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra , it is reported that the makers have decided to call the film, ‘Sanju’, and trailer will possibly come out on 08th May.
