John Abraham buys the remake rights of a Hollywood film; Taapsee Pannu might play the female lead!
Reportedly, John Abraham has bought the remake rights of a successful Hollywood thriller and wants Taapsee Pannu to play the female lead in it.

As a producer, John Abraham is known to back projects which boast of powerful content and unconventional vision. From his maiden venture Vicky Donor to Madras Cafe to Force 2 , all his productions have hit the right chord with the audience and yielded the profit for all the stakeholders involved. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for his next production Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran , wherein he plays an Army officer, has already planned his next project. If latest reports are anything to go by, the actor-turned-producer has bought the remakes rights of a Hollywood thriller and wants Taapsee Pannu as the heroine of his film.
As per a source, “After Parmanu, which is an action drama based on the successful nuclear tests in Pokhran, John is planning a thriller. He will launch a new director called Lakshya with this film. John’s JA Entertainment will also be co-producing the thriller along with Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor’s KriArj Entertainment. Taapsee won’t play John’s love interest in the film. There will be another heroine in the film who will be opposite him.”
The source further adds, “John has a different vision as a producer. He is attempting to do something very unique with this new film that he will begin shooting around December-January. The name of the Hollywood film is still under wraps. The producers plan to announce the film in the coming weeks."
