Let’s Meet the Characters of Lucknow Central, ft. Farhan Akhtar & Diana Penty!

One of the key mottos behind any promotional campaign for the film is to introduce masses to the characters the film has. And what better way to do it then posting their mug-shots with a single line stating about their individual traits. Apparently, the team Lucknow Central went ahead with the same approach and took official Twitter handle to introduce the key characters in the film. And since it is a thrilling comedy-drama, captions were meant to be funny!

Lucknow Central revolves around a Jail and it is not just about prisoner but about the people surrounding the jail in the storyline. In the brief introduction of the storyline, it is a story of prisoner group, who conspire to flee from prison through the event of a rock show! And makers thought it would be the right idea to introduce characters to the audience so they would be more familiar with all of them.

Other than lead character of Farhan Akhtar , other characters like Diana Penty who is stubborn with the flare of anger on her nose, Ronit Roy being painted as ruthless but stunning Jailer, Inaamulhaq being shown as comedian in morbid world of prison, Rajesh Sharma is the kind hearted Pundit no one knows why to end up in the prison in the first place, Deepak Dobriyal is the person who takes every step carefully and chose people thoughtfully, and Gippy Grewal who is combination of hot fuzz in the mellow fruit in short ‘Total Panjabi’

The film Lucknow Central is set to release on 15th September and it is written and directed by Ranjit Tiwari , who has been associated to work previously with Nikhil Advani !
