Makers contemplating to change Veere Di Wedding title?
The makers of Hindi Veere Di Wedding might change the title of their film as it sounds similar to Punjabi film Veere Ki Wedding.

Things are not going well for the Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer forthcoming film Veere Di Wedding ever since the makers of upcoming Punjabi film Veere Ki Wedding accused the makers of lifting their title. Though there is a difference of 'Di' and 'Ki' in the titles, they sound very much similar. But since the Punjabi title was first registered by the makers of Jimmy Shergill 's film, producer Rhea Kapoor has no other option except changing the title of her Hindi production. No official announcement has been made in this regard, but industry insiders say, Veere Di Wedding will reportedly have a new title soon.
Another important update which came in recently related to the project was that one of the main producers Ekta Kapoor had backed out from the project due to monetary issues. But the producer rubbished all such rumors and said she is very much a part of the film.
Veere Di Wedding was supposed to go on floors last year, but due to Kareena's pregnancy, the project was put on hold. The film shoot will now commence in August. Besides Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor , the film also stars Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles.
