'Mardaani' gets tax-free in Uttar Pradesh

After Madhya Pradesh, now Rani Mukherjee starrer 'Mardaani' becomes tax-free in Uttar Pradesh, as declared by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

We earlier reported about Rani Mukherjee 's latest release ' Mardaani ' achieving tax-free status in Madhya Pradesh and now, the film has become tax-free in one more state. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh was delighted to see ' Mardaani ' along with his family and declared the film as tax-free.

The fresh news update revealed that ' Mardaani ' has now exempted from entertainment tax in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav liked the film and he announced tax-free status of the film. This production venture by Yash Raj Films is gaining positive response from the viewers and critics. Rani plays a fierce Crime Branch officer, who strives hard to solve the case of human trafficking. The film imparts a powerful message to the audience and empowers women to fight against the injustice.
